Geïnspireerd door de acid house eind jaren tachtig, maakte Dylan Hermelijn op zijn zeventiende zijn eerste productie. Begin jaren negentig was hij met 2000 and One een van de eerste liveartiesten in de technoscene. Samen met zijn vriend Sandy Hüner richtte hij in 1993 het label 100% Pure op, het platenlabel dat later een basis zou vormen voor de carrière van onder anderen Orlando Voorn, Steve Rachmad en zijn eigen carrière.
Eind jaren negentig hield het label korte tijd op te bestaan, omdat Hermelijn voor een zakelijke carrière koos. Geïnspireerd door de nieuwe minimalstroming, een afgeleide van de muziekstijl techno, begon hij rond 2004 weer met muziekmaken. In maart 2009 kwam zijn artiestenalbum Heritage uit op cd en vinyl.
Uit zijn begin periode zijn ook diverse klassiekers gekomen, zoals het epische Setup 707. Op Wooferland 2020 zal Dylan met zijn alias 2000 And One laten horen dat hij heel goed weet waar een Woofer de mosterd haalt 😉

808 State is een elektronicagroep uit Radcliffe, Groot-Brittannië en ontleent zijn naam aan de legendarische drumcomputer Roland TR-808. De muziek van 808 State varieert van house, techno, ambient tot acid house. De groep is met name bekend om de househit Pacific state.

His real name is Jeff Porter aka DJ Abraxas. He together with Jeroen Flamman were the people behind the Party Animals and Fierce Ruling Diva. Once they had a floating club in Amsterdam called Subtopia were the real house music was played.

Acid Junkies is a dance act from The Netherlands. Their music is all about having fun: nowadays the only motivation for them is that they enjoy making the music and playing it for a crowd. The do not conform to any hipster styles or fashion, they just make and play the music they like. Live, they present themselves with a mix of solid techno music, played live and edited and enhanced with fragments of all kinds of dance music, spanning the last 20 years. From synthi-disco, via EBM towards house and techno.

De ongekroonde nacht-koning van Haarlem en omstreken, Alexander Koning. Van platenzaak-eigenaar tot producer, en van graffiti tot foute plaatjesdraaier, deze half-Berliner draait zo door de decennia heen aan vele knoppen.

Alvredo is niet bepaald een onbekende in de Nederlandse dance-scene. In de jaren 90 draaide hij veelvuldig in clubs als Marcanti en de Waakzaamheid. Zijn sets zijn altijd energiek te noemen en hij draaide in zowel 2015 als 2016 ook op classics-feesten als The Summer of Love en The Promised Land.
Op 26 augustus 2017 staat Alvredo in de House of Love area op voor zijn Wooferland debuut.

Een van de grondleggers van de stevige trance sound, Baby Doc. Man man, wat heeft deze man dikke klapper geproduceerd. Dit is ook zo&#8217;n boeking waar Wooferland al jaren verzoeken voor krijgt. 25 augustus 2018 gaat het dan gebeuren, op de nieuwe club/trance stage op Wooferland Festival!

We kennen Thimbles van de uiterst populaire Turn Up The Bass CD serie in de 90s. (wie is er niet groot mee geworden 😉 ) Heeft in het tweede deel van jaren 90 naam gemaakt in de Drum ’n Bass en Break Beat scene, en viel uiteindelijk in de prijzen met eigen feesten en producties. 
Er volgde na de eeuwwisseling met Therapy Works een ontdekkingsreis in Trip Hop, Lounge, World &amp; Jazz met o.a. tours en grote successen in de USA Billboard charts. Thimbles blijft zich vernieuwen: momenteel producties in de Deep House en Disco hoek (oa op het Franse Springbok label) en eigen Disco Overflow nights. So come on and get your boogie down! 😉 
 BIO Bart Thimbles is een van de bedenkers van en stuwende krachten achter Turn Up The Bass. Met meer dan 120.000 verkochte exemplaren per editie is TUTB &#8216;House Party The Ultimate Mega Mix’ een van de best verkopende Nederlandse DJ mixen ooit. De eerste uitgave in 1989 van TUTB was, met voor de mainstream volslagen onbekende muziek, in eerste instantie best een gok. 
Maar al snel domineerde de compilatieserie de hitlijsten met de nieuwe smaken. Vele avonturen en optredens met dansers, acts en decor door heel het land volgden. TUTB bracht de house naar het grotere publiek en heeft op deze manier het dance landschap in Nederland flink beïnvloed. Niet vreemd dat er in 2008 en 2009 succesvolle comebacks waren met alle grote artiesten en DJ&#8217;s uit die tijd in een nagenoeg uitverkocht AFAS Live (voorheen Heineken Music Hall). 
Thimbles experimenteerde door met nieuwe stromingen en van Drum N Bass tot World en stond ondertussen op alle grote festivals in de 90s, denk aan main stage Dance Valley, Inner-City, Lowlands, Sensation, Burning man etc. en zet nog steeds aardig de toon op dikke privé feesten van celebrities of de ’high end’ bedrijfsfeesten van bijvoorbeeld Heineken en Suit Supply. 
Van Amsterdam tot Tilburg, van New York tot LA, van Nieuw Zeeland tot Thailand. Van groots op de Olympische Winterspelen in 2014 tot ingetogen op de stranden van Cannes, Turkije, Ibiza… etc.
Op 31 augustus 2019 maakt Bart zijn debuut op Wooferland op de disco/funk area, komt dat zien (en horen)!

Wooferland festival 2019 is het debuut voor Benny of Wooferland, heeft die jongen ook een keer een boeking 😉 We zullen Benny met open armen ontvangen en zijn nu al benieuwd naar zijn classics set.

Biografie (English) 
Billy Nasty born 28th March 1969, has been DJing half his life, and spent ten years on the world circuit as a professional spinner. He has played at some of the biggest dance events on the planet, and consistently stars in the upper regions of DJ Magazines Top 100 DJs Poll. He has enjoyed a busy recording career, formed a seminal techno label to match his DJing success, and set up his own DJ agency to bring nurtured talent to the world.
Nasty&#8217;s passion for music started early, enjoying rare groove, go-go and funk. Billy had already taken up DJing when house music exploded in the UK in the late 1980s. 
Nasty was pushed to the cutting-edge of London dance culture when in 1989 he was taken on by well-known record shop Zoom. This position built up his industry contacts whilst providing a well-timed boost to his DJ reputation. At the beginning of 1990, Nasty won his first residency with Steve Bicknell. Based in Sohos notorious Brain Club, -The Exploding Plastic Inevitable- ran for two and a half years. &#8220;We played nu-groove records, loops, and European stuff-, explains Nasty. -Dance mixes of Happy Mondays, My Bloody Valentine and James also featured heavily-. Its widely acknowledged that these sounds were the paving stones for the building progressive house scene.
Alongside co-promoter Jim Masters, Nasty founded Open To Torture, a bi-monthly event at The End in London. Co-existing with his Tortured label and his peculiar surname, all of his events are monickered to shock people into remembering them. Evidently, it works fine. To this day, OTT survives as one of the few quality techno nights in London. It has acted as a showcase for talent both attached to and around the label. Guests have included The Advent, Green Velvet, DJ Slip, Oliver Ho, Holy Ghost, Swag, Laidback Luke, Cherry Bomb and Access 58.
1998 saw Nasty&#8217;s first expedition to the States, the Americans quickly warming to his style. He has returned frequently to spin at New Yorks legendary Twilo and also in places such as Chicago, Detroit, Washington, San Francisco, LA, Toronto, Seattle and Canada. Back in Europe, he was voted second most popular international DJ of &#8217;98 by Dutch dance fans. 
Of late, Nasty has been managing the general running and shaping of the Tortured label, recently celebrating its twentieth release. The Theremin agency boasts a roster that includes Space DJz, Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, Daz Saund, Marco Carola, Umek, Gaetek, Joel Mull, Steve Rachmad, Nick Rapaccioli, Craig Walsh, Oliver Ho, Keith Fielder, Alex Handley, Christian Smith, Mark Ambrose, Laidback Luke and Mark Wiliams.
Tortured also put out &#8216;The Torture Chamber&#8217;; a brand new mix CD by Billy demonstrating the quality and style of Tortured&#8217;s trademark thumping beats and power cuts. &#8220;I wanted to do the mix CD as a label compilation because I think that we&#8217;ve put out some superb music out on the label-, he says. It will be the first in a series of ten, with DJs involved with the label mixing future ones. -I want this to be the best series of techno CD&#8217;s for the next decade&#8221;, he says wistfully.

BoothHills is een nieuwe samenwerking tussen Kenneth Heuvel (The Housenegro) en zijn zoon Jelani. Hun gebundelde krachten leveren een verfrissende mix op van allerlei stijlen, van klassiekers tot en met pompende nieuwe tracks.
The Housenegro heeft zijn sporen in de jaren negentig al meer dan ruimschoots verdiend. Voordat het begrip ghostproducer überhaupt bestond maakte Kenneth begin jaren negentig al tracks voor allerlei grote nederlandse DJ. Ook heeft hij zelf onder diverse pseudoniemen veel tracks uitgebracht waarmee hij o.a. een residentie in het verre Japan wist binnen te slepen.

Brian S, begonnen met draaien in 1995 onder andere de iT, en daarna zo&#8217; beetje elke hotspot in NL. Staat bekend om zijn groovy stijl en zijn interactie met zijn publiek. Alleen al gezien zijn trackrecord hoog tijd dat hij 25 augustus op Wooferland festival 2018 staat.

Man man, wat heeft deze dj veel gedraaid, van de grootste festivals tot en met de vuigste kelderparty, overal waar Mark aka Buzz Fuzz komt gaan iedereen een partijtje ouderwets los.
Buzz Fuzz heeft al een aantal keren op het festival gestaan en 16.2.2019 maakt hij zijn Wooferland debuut in Paradiso, lekker hoor!

C-Jay is een naam die bij steeds meer mensen bekend in de oren klinkt. Als dj, producer, voormalig eigenaar van een platenwinkel, of als labelbaas.
Op zijn 11 e kreeg hij zijn eerste muziekles en nu ruim 30 jaar later draait hij van Jordanie tot Polen en van Libanon tot Engeland. Ook in de Nederlandse scene is hij een graag geziene gast met gigs in clubs als de Mazzo, Panama, Paradiso, Melkweg en Patronaat.
De Nederlandse festivals zijn ook geen onbekend terrein voor hem. Zo heeft hij o.a. gedraaid op Dance Valley, Mystic Garden, Impulz Outdoor, Pleasure Island en Hidden Garden. En de lijst blijft maar groeien.
C-Jay produceert al zijn hele leven en naast een reeks releases op labels als Armada, Cyber, Baroque en zijn eigen The Sessions Recordings, heeft hem dat in 2016 uiteindelijk een contract opgeleverd bij het wereldberoemde Bedrock, ’t platenlabel van John Digweed, die hem onder zijn hoede nam.
Op dit label heeft C-Jay nu 2 albums en enkele singles uitgebracht en dat heeft hem geen windeieren gelegd. Al diverse keren heeft hij samen met Digweed een podium gedeeld, zowel als opwarmer als afsluiter na de grootmeester zelf.

Niet.nor.maal. Zoveel goeie tracks CJ Bolland heeft uitgebracht, dat hebben weinigen hem in de jaren negentig nagedaan. Zodra er een nieuwe tracks can CJ uitkwam wist je meteen, dit is kwaliteit!

CJ Bolland

Een house pionier van het eerste uur, de Londense Colin Dale. Als een key member van het bekende Kiss FM begon hij in 1985 een voorliefde voor dance te ontwikkelen die via soul, jazz en reggae invloeden uit zijn jeugd samengevlochten zijn als zijn kenmerkende aanstekelijke draaistijl. Op 25 augusts is Colin te vinden op de vijftiende editie van Wooferland.

Cor Fijneman is een Nederlands dj en producer. Hij draait vooral trance en heeft onder meer op Dance Valley en Innercity gedraaid. Onder het pseudoniem Silence The Sneak bracht hij ook een single uit. In 2003 bereikte hij met Jan Johnston een grote hit met Venus (meant to be your lover). Het was een dancesmash op radiostation 538.

<h3 class="" data-start="0" data-end="60">Da Hool – Legendarische Beats &amp; Iconische Classics</h3>
Da Hool is het alter ego van de Duitse dj en producer Frank Tomiczek, een pionier binnen de rave, hardcore house en trance-scene. Al sinds de vroege jaren &#8217;90 zet hij de dansvloeren in vuur en vlam, eerst onder de naam DJ Hooligan en later als Da Hool. Zijn grootste hit? De absolute dance-klassieker &#8220;Meet Her at the Love Parade&#8221; (1997), een track die wereldwijd de charts bestormde en nog steeds een festivalfavoriet is.
<h4 class="" data-start="508" data-end="554">Van Rave Pioneer tot Trance Legende</h4>
Frank Tomiczek startte zijn carrière als DJ Hooligan en scoorde in de jaren &#8217;90 met stevige rave-tracks zoals &#8220;B.O.T.T.R.O.P.&#8221; (1993) en &#8220;Rave Nation&#8221;, waarvan de laatste zelfs de Duitse top 20 bereikte. Zijn harde sound maakte hem een icoon in de underground dancewereld.
In 1997 gooide hij het over een andere boeg met een meer melodieuze en hypnotiserende sound. &#8220;Meet Her at the Love Parade&#8221; werd dé soundtrack van de gelijknamige iconische parade in Berlijn en groeide uit tot een internationale trance-klassieker. Dit succes werd gevolgd door het album &#8220;Here Comes Da Hool&#8221;, met hits als &#8220;Bora Bora&#8221; en &#8220;Mama Sweet&#8221;.
<h4 class="" data-start="1212" data-end="1240">Comeback &amp; Legacy</h4>
Na een periode van relatieve stilte begon Da Hool in 2003 opnieuw muziek uit te brengen, met onder andere &#8220;Set The Stakes High&#8221; (2004) en het album &#8220;Light My Fire&#8221; (2008). In 2009 blies hij zelfs zijn oude alias DJ Hooligan nieuw leven in met de release van &#8220;Wegatek&#8221;.
Tot op de dag van vandaag is Da Hool een veelgevraagde naam op festivals en events waar house classics en rave-anthems de boventoon voeren. Zijn invloed op de dancescene is onmiskenbaar en zijn tracks blijven generaties ravers in extase brengen. Eén ding is zeker: als Da Hool achter de decks staat, gaat het dak eraf! 🔥🎶

Danny Rampling is an English house music DJ and is widely credited as one of the original founders of the UK&#8217;s rave/club scene.
His long career began in the early 1980s playing hip-hop, soul and funk around numerous bars and clubs in London. Rampling was the first winner of the No 1 DJ in the World Award by DJ Magazine in 1991 and is a three-time DJ Awards recipient. He has reportedly sold over 1 million compilation albums.
During a holiday in Ibiza in 1987, Rampling, along with fellow DJs Paul Oakenfold, Nicky Holloway and Johnny Walker, attended Amnesia, a then open air nightclub in San Rafael. At the club the group were introduced to the unique eclectic style of DJ Alfredo, playing, among other genres, the new house music that had been exported from the USA. The group also discovered the music&#8217;s powerful combination with the drug Ecstasy (MDMA) that reduced inhibitions and created a sense of oneness on the dance floor.
Upon his return to England, Rampling, along with his then wife, Jenni, attempted to recreate the Ibiza experience by promoting what is regarded as the UK&#8217;s first Balearic rave club, Shoom ran for three years, starting out at a gym in Southwark, London. It was a launching point for acid house culture, while contributing to worldwide dance culture.
Danny &#8216;Happy&#8217; Rampling played for the original pirate Kiss (UK radio station) with the main Saturday night slot from 7 until 9 pm in the early nineties, setting many people up for a great night out with the &#8220;Love Groove Dance Party&#8221;. He, along with others such as Judge Jules, were poached by BBC Radio 1.
In the following years, Rampling continued his career in music as a DJ and producer, while forming a band, The Millionaire Hippies. In November 1994 he joined the BBC, presenting the &#8220;Love Groove Dance Party&#8221; on BBC Radio 1 until March 2002, making it the second longest running dance music show in radio after Pete Tong&#8217;s &#8220;Essential Selection&#8221;.
The mid-1990s also saw Rampling&#8217;s DJing style diversify. While still playing house and garage sets, Rampling also began to headline at harder, trancier parties, e.g. &#8216;South&#8217;, at The Zap Club, in Brighton. Rampling himself referred to his newer style as &#8216;Euro&#8217;, and at this time showcased new Euro tracks, during the final thirty-minute weekly mix of his Radio 1 Show. Additionally, Rampling&#8217;s Double CD Love Groove Dance Mix featured house and garage on the first CD, and &#8216;Euro&#8217; on the second.

Darren begon op 14 jarige leeftijd met het draaien van hip-hop, op z&#8217;n 16e draaide hij al regelmatig in diverse clubs. Toen hij in 1990 aan Karl Hyde werd voorgesteld maakte hij binnen no-time deel uit van Underworld, een formatie die wereldwijd veel heeft betekend voor de populariteit en acceptatie van dance in het algemeen.

Dave Angel, begonnen met produceren door een remix te maken van The Eurythmics die door Annie Lennox zelf werd tegengehouden. Maar toen Dave Stewart, ja die gast van The Eurythmics, hem hoorde haalde hij Annie over om het vooral uit te brengen. De rest is history. 25 augustus staat Dave voor het eerst op Wooferland festival.

Een producer en dj met vele gezichten. Niet in de laatste plaats als TFX, of lid van Atlanic Ocean van de internationale klapper Waterfall. Nee, dit keer draagt Rene de pet van Dave Leatherman, het alias waar hij in het genre disco/nu-disco hoge ogen gooit in de online charts.
31 augustus 2019 kan je Dave Leatherman zien shinen op de nieuwe disco en funk area. En wedden dat ie ook jou aan het dansen krijgt tot het einde!!
BIO  (English): Dave Leatherman aka René van der Weijde is a music producer / DJ with his roots in the early 90&#8217;s.He was partly responsible for the success on the early 90&#8217;s stealth label (Rotterdam) with releases like TFX (Deep Inside Of Me), Trancemission (Keep this Party Slammin&#8217;) Techno Groovesand Space Trax (Bounce).Later on he joined the Pegasus label and co- produced the 90&#8217;s hit Atlantic Ocean &#8211; Waterfallwhich was a huge success in many countries.Nowadays he&#8217;s into producing Nu Disco / Indie sound.

There aren’t many artists who’ve soundtracked the birth of dance music and are still leading its development more than two decades later. There are even less who have gifted both the club and pop scenes with unforgettable musical moments that get talked about in hushed tones years after their creation. Dave Seaman is one of a select few.
Whether it’s one of his spine-tingling Global Underground or Renaissance CDs that’s still burning a hole in your stereo years after its purchase, or the perfect pop of Kylie’s ‘Confide In Me’ that he co-wrote, produced and remixed, there’s very few with their heart in electronic music who haven’t been touched by his oeuvre in one form or another.
It’s a commonality that everyone from clubbers at Creamfields, to the biggest recording artists on the planet share. Having devoted almost every weekend over the last 20 years to moving dancefloors from Ibiza to Iceland, Seaman has played the world’s most recognised festivals and clubs in more than 80 countries throughout his career, while still lending his production nous to the music industry’s A List. Along with crafting beats for Ms Minogue and Pet Shop Boys, everyone from David Bowie to New Order and U2 to Michael Jackson have received a Seaman re-rub.
Wind the clock back to when Seaman was eight years old and it’s difficult to imagine anyone wanting to devote their life to music quite as much as the Leeds-born lad. While others indulged in pipe dreams of becoming an English Premier League star or following Neil Armstrong into space, Seaman – much to his career councillor’s disapproval – knew he was destined for a life full of beats and rhythm.
By the early ‘80s, the music obsessive was spinning records at his high school disco and earning his pocket money playing friends’ birthday parties. He knew how to talk-the-talk, too. In 1987 the still-amateur DJ and DMC member won a trip to New York to attend the New Music Seminar – the industry’s most important event at that time. The trip ultimately led him to land the editor’s role at Mixmag, a position he’d hold for the next three years as he shaped the magazine into being the undisputed clubber’s bible it is today.
Seaman played his first bona-fide professional DJ gig at the legendary Shelley’s in Stoke in 1990, stroking vinyl alongside a couple of emerging talents by the name of Sasha and Laurent Garnier. Acid house was blooming and Seaman’s boundless enthusiasm and creative spirit was petrol in it’s tank.
Teaming up with producer and friend Steve Anderson, the duo recorded as Brothers In Rhythm, birthing the seminal rave anthem ‘Such A Good Feeling’ which became a UK Top 20 hit, while also issuing the landmark ‘Mixmag Live Volume’ 1 with Carl Cox in 1991 – a release that stands as one of the first ever commercially available mix compilations.
Seaman’s unrelenting desire to propel music at all levels saw him kickstart the Stress Records imprint through DMC, showcasing tunes by some of the finest talent in dance music for more than a decade. Artists including Sasha, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed and Groove Armada’s Andy Cato all released smoking club cuts on the label, with many crediting it as acting as a global launching pad for their careers. He followed Stress with a decade at the helm of another lauded label, Audio Therapy where similar levels of success ensued proving his ability to spot &amp; nurture talent time and time again.
Without a doubt, his relationship with Renaissance is one of the most renowned in dance music, with Seaman having contributed 10 mixes to the revered series. Global Underground view the Brit in a similarly lofty light, having secured his services to mix their Melbourne, Buenos Aires, Cape Town &amp; Lithuanian volumes. His most recent mix compilation, Beyond Borders: Berlin for Armada, even gatecrashed the Dutch Pop Charts, a particularly rare accomplishment for an resolutely Underground release.
Today, Seaman’s passion to exhibit boundary-breaking talent is as strong as ever. Via the independent record label Selador Recordings which he co owns with long time friend, Steve Parry, his inspired A&amp;R has helped nurture some of the finest groove-merchants in dance music. The label’s roster speaks for itself, with Cristoph, Nicolas Masseyeff, Kiko, Kevin Over, Dubspeeka, Habischman, D Nox &amp; Beckers, Quivver, Kiki, Gorge and Robert Babicz all contributing tracks and remixes recently.
30 years on from that initial boyhood dream, the places and people may have changed, but Seaman’s passion hasn’t. As busy as ever, he still continues to create. His recent releases on Suara, Noir Muisc, Sudbeat &amp; Hive Audio have seen him enjoy both critical and chart success and with a whole wave of remixes ready for release, you know Seaman’s always on the frontline of electronic house music.

The music career of Dimitri Kneppers’ (1967), better known as ‘Dimitri from Amsterdam’, reads like an encyclopedia. A Dutch house encyclopedia, that is. After 30 years of spinning records you could call this DJ a true veteran, known for his enormous sensitivity, true feeling and mixing skills. 
Hardly anybody ever felt and looked so comfortable behind the decks as DJ Dimitri. Ecstasy is no longer just a word, but a true magical moment as the crowd, the surroundings and the music all come together in one hypnotizing state of happiness. This man knows -or should we say feels- what he is doing, not only behind the decks but also when producing his own music. 
In 1988 Dimitri obtains his first residency at club Richter in Amsterdam and starts spinning in the legendary RoXY, where he distinguishes himself from the rest of the DJ-ing world through his bold and innovative mixing techniques. 
Dimitri is one of the first DJs to mix a house record with breakbeats or drum ‘n bass, proving he is not only capable of mixing those two records together by tempo and rhythm , but also just by melody or tune/pitch, creating real-time compositions. At that time this was really groundbreaking. A style that has been copied ever so often, although never truly coming close to the master himself.

His love for music began at the age of five when he learned to play the piano. Cellies DJ-career began in 1984, playing disco, rap, funk, rare-grooves and new-wave in clubs all over Holland, Germany and Spain. 
In 89 he returned to Amsterdam and started working in club Mazzo as floor-manager/programmer [booking bands and DJs], and also dj-ing himself. Here he started organizing the popular Saturday-nights called Unity which became a huge success. After a few years he decided to team up with the London based Sex Love And Motion and brought Londons popular S.L.A.M nights to Amsterdam at Mazzo. 
August 2000 was the last of these weekly events and from September 2000 on Cellie has begun a new venture named Off The Record; a new concept to freshen up the Amsterdam nightlive. These nights will be co-hosted by DJs Steve Rachmad, Estoe &amp; Carlijn. Besides playing in Mazzo Cellie plays all over the world, England, Italy, France, Norway, Finland, Portugal, USA, South-Africa and China are regulary visited by this well travelled DJ. 
Cellie also plays some of Hollands biggest festivals such as New Frontier and Dancevalley often in front of crowds as big as 10,000 plus. His music can be described as Hypnotic.Global.House -ranging from break-beats and techhouse edging towards progressive and techno- always uplifting, pumping &amp; groovy.

DJ Cellie

DJ Dano is one of the founders of the hardcore scene. In 1984 Dano started to DJ for several local pirated radio stations in Amsterdam. Two years later he became a journalist for a newspaper for young people, where he wrote about music and going out. One night he decided to visit the Roxy discotheque, Dano was very sceptical about this whole new scene called dance. 
Four hours later, sweaty and tired, he realised that he had be dancing non-stop. “After my experience at the Roxy, I realised that I was sold and that electronic music was my calling.” And on that night, Dano was incurably infected by the ‘acid virus’. From then on he got his own show called ‘Acid Explosion’ on a local radio station and soon after that became a resident DJ at the Mazzo club.
In 1992 the dance scene exploded on a massive scale. During a colossal house party in Utrecht, Dano performed with his colleagues Buzz Fuzz, Gizmo and the Prophet. There and then marked the birth of the legendary ‘Dreamteam’. This hardcore party was the beginning of the immense hardcore scene and in a short period of time Leeflang grew to be one of leading emperors of hardcore.
The following years are best described as a roller coaster ride at top speed that took him to all the big national and international parties; Hellraiser, Thunderdome, Mayday and Love Parade, just to name a few. This man has travelled the whole world to play his music, but recalls that the tour in Australia with the Dreamteam was without a doubt the most memorable event in that time. “The stronger friendship that was developed, the beautiful landscapes and the hysterical audiences; these are things I will never forget.”
Not only has Dano been chosen four times in a row as best hardcore DJ (which to this date no other hardcore DJ has been able to accomplish), but is also renowned for his productions. Creating tracks for labels such as Mokum, ID&amp;T and Dreamteam Productions and IST, just to name a few.. This man has also made quality remixes, such as ‘T-1000’, taken from the heavy metal band Fear Factory. One of the most impressive projects in his career has been his hardcore remix for “A Wanna be a hippy” what only sold in Germany 250.000 copies and resulted in a golden record.
The legend is still one of the world’s best hardcore DJs, even for the second generation, maybe even the third…

DJ Rob was de DJ waar elke houseliefhebber het over had toen hij begin jaren negentig zijn draaitafelkunsten liet zien in de Rotterdamse Club PARKZICHT.
De legendarische club Parkzicht was meer dan hardcore en gabber. Het was een muzikaal experiment met techno en andere housemuziek met DJ Rob aan het roer. Een muzikale reis waar iedereen bij wilde zijn. Nationale en internationale top DJ’s en producers trokken regelmatig naar Rotterdam om samen met DJ Rob back-to-back op te mogen treden.
Het nieuws van zijn succes verspreidde zich eveneens snel over de grens. Rob – en zijn voormalige buurman – MC JOE werd een van de beroemdste Nederlandse House Acts ooit.

DJ Rob

DJ Rob is een dj waarvoor we als Wooferland in de loop der jaren meermaals verzoeken hebben gekregen van de Woofers. Legendarische sets heeft deze man voortgebracht en weet het publiek volledig mee te nemen in zijn sets. 25 augustus 2018 staat Rob op de vijftiende jubileum editie van Wooferland.

Een splinternieuwe naam op de line-up van Wooferland, Dr Lektroluv! Wat draait deze groene rakker dikke en originele sets, niet normaal meer! Probeer hem alleen niet te bellen tijdens z&#8217;n sets want hij neemt toch niet op 🙂
Op Wooferland zal hij een speciale classics set draaien met een invalshoek zoals alleen onze groene vriend dat kan.
Dr. Lektroluv is het pseudoniem van de Belgische producer Stefaan Vandenberghe die onder de naam T-Quest talloze technoclassics heeft geproduceerd. Sinds 2002 heeft hij zich zijn herkenbare outfit aangemeten (met aparte koptelefoon) en draait onder de naam Dr. Lektroluv een mengelmoes van begin jaren 80-italo, new wave, EBM en hedendaagse electro en techno: heden en verleden met elkaar verbonden door scheurende bassen, arpeggiator-baslijnen en vette beats. Naast het dj-en runt hij zijn eigen platenlabel genaamd Lektroluv

Dr Lektroluv

Dritte Raum, de naam die onlosmakelijk verbonden is met een aantal van de grootste tracks in de dance geschiedenis. Begin jaren negentig kwam Andreas Krüger Sven Väth tegen op een technofeest en gaf hem een demotape van zijn producties. Al snel tekenden Andreas op het lable Harthouse.
Tracks van Dritte Raum kenmerken zich door invloeden uit genres zoals Goa, Trance en Techno. Eén van bekendste tracks is bijvoorbeeld het schitterende Hale Bop dat nog steeds dansvloeren op de hele wereld op z&#8217;n kop zet. Een andere gigantische hit die veel dance-liefhebbers een warm hart toedragen is de track Trommelmaschine.
Al met al is Dritte Raum dan ook een act die thuishoort op een Wooferland line-up en 10 februari 2018 staan ze dan ook op Winter Wooferland in Paradiso.

Om de zoveel tijd staat er een talent op waar je simpelweg niet omheen kan. Dat zag Jeroen Verheij aka Secret Cinema ook toen hij de tracks van de boomlange Egbert hoorde. Het is fris, het is techno, het is soms house, maar altijd ongelooflijk dik!
Egbert staat op Wooferland festival te knallen in onze Subv3rse area, de area waar we (zoals wij dat noemen) &#8220;nieuwe muziek&#8221; ten gehore brengen. Kom ook genieten van de set van Egbert, een artiest die wat ons betreft nu al een klassieker is!

Deze producer uit Frankrijk heeft werkelijk een gigantische staat van dienst. Van hele dikke underground tracks als Acid Phase tot één van de grootste tracks uit de dance geschiedenis like ever: BBE Seven Days and One week.
In 2003 trok hij zich tijdelijk terug uit de muziekindustrie om in 2011 plotseling een comeback te maken. En wat zijn we blij dat deze pionier gewoon op ons eigen Wooferland staat!

&#8220;There are a lot of people in this world who call themselves D j s nowadays,&#8221; says German house-legend We s t b a m upon asking him what sets Dj Eric de Man apart from most of his associates. &#8220;But to be a music lover is one thing. To be a Dj, a real Dj, is something different. It is about how to work music, the whole programming, how to hit the right records at the right time. And all these elements make Eric de Man more than just a Dj. In my opinion hes a Djs Dj.&#8221;
Who can argue with that? Not the thousands of punters who over the years were in the lucky position (aka smack in the middle of the dance-floor) to see, hear and feel this giant of a Dj/producer. And not the house-connaisseurs who know that any Eric de Man-night is an unforgettable night. Most electronic dance-Djs want to feel the sensation of dropping a track that they can cal their own. So they become producers as well. Not Eric de Man. When he was 14 years old he got himself a drum kit and started to kick some serious ass. Influenced by funk &amp; hiphop he became a drummer. Melodie was king in Erics musical book, but rhythm was emperor. After digesting electronical music (Kraftwerk, LFO) his musical preference as a musician changed to electronic dance music. Attracted to the Chicago house-sound he started to produce tracks, first as a member of Gyrate, later on his own, as Astrophunk.
And then he started to Dj. First at underground warehouse parties in Arnhem, his hometown, but his career as a real Dj began around 93 when almost instantly he became the premier Dj for the Club Risk parties in Amsterdam. From that moment on he worked himself to the top of the Dutch and international underground. Not with his elbows, but with his hands and his brains, of which a great percentage is reserved for a huge musical catalogue, ranging from funk to punk and from house to jazz.
Calling Eric de Man a techno Dj therefore is like calling New York a city of native Americans. His style is a melting pot of all things danceable. There is only one rule: the dance floor has to be locked on to his pumpin sound and people have to forget any notion of time and place. It is therefore that Eric is, to quote Westbam, a Djs Dj. He has played with board-members of the international Dj-elite: Derrick May, Kenny Larkin, Mike Dunn, Kevin Saunderson, Billy Nasty, Claude Young, Mr. C, Dj Rush and Westbam of course. Djs like to be inspired. And Erics energetic and highly musical sets are a great inspiration for the inmates of the Dj-Booth. Next to his residencies at the Winkel van Sinkel in Utrecht and Club More in Amsterdam (where his 5 hour solo-sets are the talk of the town) he recently started producing again.
Last year he and Quasars Gert van Veen made a monster of a track under the alias Man Made Music. I A m S o m e b o d y was handpicked by Jamie Anderson who released it on his own Artform imprint and gave it a personal rework for the B-side. Carl Cox hammered the track for weeks and gave it a two thumbs up in his Muzik column. Lately a 7-inch hit the shops, called Saturday Night on which Eric and co-producer Jeppe Laverman as Last Century Boys get vocal support from US house-legend Colonel Abrams. Word on the streets and in the clubs say that Saturday Night can be the song everyone is waiting for. Both tracks are worlds apart. But thats what Eric de Man is all about. Dont try to pinpoint him. It can be a lifelong task&#8230;

Eric de Man

Biografie (English) Eric is one of the true pioneers of house music of the netherlands. He was one of the first to perform live together with DJs in the early nineties. He performed live on the first, the second and the tenth Dance Valley. Many of his tunes are now house classics.
He released a best of compilation with Dimitri for Loveland recordings called &#8216;Careful Digit&#8217; in 2005. After a long break he is back on the international scene since 2006 and is now recording a new album to be released in 2008. Nowadays he plays his own style of bass electro and is gaining popularity abroad especially in north africa and south america. He wants to complete his new album before re-launching himself on the dutch party scene.

Eric Nouhan

Erick Eerdhuizen begon zijn carrière als hiphop-dj in discotheek Prinsenhof in Zaandam. In 1989 werd Eerdhuizen Nederlands kampioen mix/scratch. Niet veel later ging hij over op house. In 1995 resulteerde dit tot resident-dj van de RoXY in Amsterdam. Daarna groeide hij uit tot een van de succesvolste dj&#8217;s van Nederland.
Samen met Olav Basoski vormde hij een duo, waarmee hij halverwege de jaren 90 een grote clubhit scoorde met &#8216;Don&#8217;t turn your back&#8217;. Later startte hij met Basoski het platenlabel Work, waarbij hij zich naast dj ook als producer met muziek ging bezighouden. Nu is hij vooral bekend door Housequake, wat hij samen met Roog doet, en Sneakerz, dat hij samen met Fedde le Grand organiseert.
De dancekenner weet dat wanneer Erick op de line-up staat je een set vol met energie en strakke overgangen kan verwachten. Met zijn onuitputtelijke smile weet hij altijd het publiek mee te nemen op een onvergetelijke muzikale reis.

Esther Dune&#8217;s sound is characterised by the legacy of techno and (acid) house music. Growing up in The Netherlands shaped Esther&#8217;s music as she absorbed the rich Dutch scene of the time.
Being praised for her excellent high-end precision mixing skills Esther blends styles together flawlessly, bringing quality &amp; content to any dancefloor. From raw electro to minimal, groovy Detroit techno, hard techno &amp; proper acid techno. She creates a natural flow traveling effortlessly through all the decades of electronic music like time doesn&#8217;t exist.
She also enjoys playing deeper styles like Chicago house, dub techno, obscure acid &amp; (downtempo) EBM and feels right at home starting her DJ&#8217;s sets from scratch setting the mood and building to where the dancefloor needs to be.
Dune has music out, also under her &#8216;Esther Duijn&#8217; alias, on labels like Gegen Records, Deestricted, Expel Your Demons, Occultists, Adroit Recordings &amp; Noise Manifesto. New releases are in the pipeline tba.
This has not gone unnoticed by the scene, earning her a residential DJ slot at the mighty Tresor, Gegen Berlin &amp; Intergalactic FM. 
Esther also made (regular) appearances at Pornceptual, De School, Unter NYC, Paradigm, Freerotation Festival, Elevator Shanghai, Panorama Bar to name a few. In 2017 she was asked by Resident Advisor to do a tour in Australia together with Skatebård.

Eshter Dune

Every now and then the world of dance music loses a talent, yet gains an icon.DJ Fausto has been in the game for over twenty years now and whereas some people would lose inspiration or enthusiasm, he is still pursuing to stay at the top position that he has earned over the past two decades. If you take a look at the immense list of events that Fausto has performed at, you will know that he has taken quite a long road up to the point where he finds himself nowadays. 
Headlining a.o. Trance Energy (closing set at Main Stage), DefQon1 (main stage Holland and Australia), Qlimax, Sensation Black, Impulz, In Qontrol, Q-Base, Ground Zero, Decibel, Mystery Land, Miami Winter Conference, Full Moon Party (Thailand), Monday Cruise Bar (Sweden), Hard House Academy (UK), a residency at Pendragon (UK), Loveparade (Germany), it&#8217;s just a small part of Fausto&#8217;s impressive resumé. 
In fact, he is one of the very few artists who can refer to eight different performances at the infamous Dance Valley Festival, including several closing sets at different stages. Fausto is also probably the only DJ who can say that he has played all major events within The Netherlands.

Met deze boeking voor Wooferland Festival 2020 zijn we bijzonder blij, eerdere edities lukte het niet vanwege drukke tourschema&#8217;s maar dit keer is het zover, Felix Da Housecat op Wooferland!
Biografie Felix da Housecat werd op zijn vijftiende al producer in zijn geboortestad Chicago, de housestad. Met DJ Pierre maakte hij in 1987 de single Phantasy girl, dat een hitje op de lokale radiostations werd. Zijn strenge ouders vonden echter dat hij zich beter met studeren dan met housemuziek kon bezighouden. Gelukkig voor ons had Felix andere plannen.

Dit is een lekkere stevige boeking van formaat! Tijdens 30 jaar Djax in de Elementenstraat veegde hij dusdanig de vloer aan met zijn set dat we het meer dan geschikt vonden voor Wooferland.
Biografie (Engels) Frank Kvitta does not come from an extreme musical parental background, nor has he taken over his brothers&#8217; record collection. He is not influenced by Kraftwerk first Loveparade experience – and certainly not by the music shows performed on television. Frank Kvittas&#8217; musical education always took place on the one sole place – the dancefloor. He started at a very early age to record his own tapes for his friends and in doing so, he arrived at creating his own productions. This is how the story of his success started and today Kvitta can without doubt be found amongst the most important protagonist of a more harder kind of sound culture.
He is loved by his fans, because his sets vary from Hard-Techno to rhythmic techno-basslines, he demonstrates a respectable width of this ability and gained a huge global fan base. No wonder that he performs in the most important clubs worldwide, coupled with the biggest and most important festivals of the present time. With his own personal label Frank Kvitta Records managed to prove over the years that he always up-to-date and acts like a top dog. Tracks such as &#8220;Superheroes&#8221; when he collaborated with Electronmike and also with &#8220;Electronic Pleasure&#8221; with Horrorist. 
Together with Thommy Fusion he only recently founded the new Imprint &#8220;Prism Records&#8221; on which the Duo &#8220;Prismatic&#8221; EP catalogue no. 001 played.Frank Kvittas&#8217; style is unmistakable. He is unique, energetic, drifty and at the same someone reaching peoples heart. A kind of journey on, which he takes his crowd with him on each of his sets. This journey – mainly a self-finding journey during which Frankfurt artist deals with his forthcoming album, which will be released at the beginning of 2014. And it is already certain now that Frank Kvitta never worked on a more personal piece of music. 
But not only musically does Kvitta concern himself with his awareness and personal self-finding. His traditionally celebrated birthday tour, his sets as well as his further activities can be regarded as a spearhead of an entire genre. All this promises to result in unreachable dimensions. 2013 and Frank Kvitta – already now a great friendship from which the outside world will certainly profit.

Franky Jones op Wooferland 2018!. De schrijver, producer, componist en dirigent van nog steeds het dikste rave anthem ooit! The First Rebirth is geen track, het is geen rave, het is geen hardcore, dit is gewoon een zeer bruut stuk muziek dat verantwoordelijk is voor heel wat kippenvel- en nostalgische flashbacks.

Franky Jones

Jon Pearn en Mike Gray begonnen in de vroege jaren negentig housemuziek te produceren. Aanvankelijk gebruikten ze Hustlers Convention als de belangrijkste werknaam voor hun muziek. Ook brachten ze muziek uit onder de naam Arizona. In 1993 wisten ze daarmee hun eerste hit te maken in de Amerikaanse dancelijst met Slide On the Rhythm. Grotere bekendheid kwam met een remix die ze maakten voor So in love with you van Duke onder de naam Full Intention. Het nummer werd begin 1995 een hit, net als verschillende remixen. Ook die van Full Intention verscheen op meerdere compilaties. Daarna bachten ze het nummer I love America uit, dat de eerste plek van de Amerikaanse dancelijst wist te bereiken. Vanaf dat moment werd Full Intention de belangrijkste werknaam.
Na het succes van I love America bleef Full Intention in hoog tempo nieuwe singles en ep&#8217;s opnemen. Dit onder verschillende namen. Daarbij werkten ze samen met zangeressen als Thea Austin (Snap!) en Dajaé. In de zomer van 2001 verscheen het nummer I&#8217;ll be waiting op meerdere compilaties. Dit was een samenwerking met de zangeres Shena McSween. In 2002 produceerden ze voor zangeres Dina Vass het hitje The Love I have for you. Ook werden er veel remixes gemaakt, waarbij enkele voor bekende artiesten. De belangrijkste momenten hiervan werden verzameld op het album Connected: 10 Years of Full Intention (2006). Ook solo bleven ze actief. In 2004 had Michael Gray een solohit met het nummer Weekend, dat in meerdere landen een hit werd. Jon Pearn was in 2006 betrokken bij Bodyrox, dat ook een Europese hit maakte met het nummer Yeah yeah. Full Intention stond sinds 2006 op een laag pitje maar in 2011 pakten ze de draad weer op. Eerst met een remake van I&#8217;ll be waiting van Shena en daarna ook met nieuwe singles. Zo verscheen in 2014 de dubbelsingle Everlasting/Feel.

Kijk, dit is ook weer zo&#8217;n boeking waar we zomers warm voor lopen. Niemand minder dan Mister Strictly Rhythm Records himself: George Morel!
George draait niet bepaald onverdienstelijk mee sinds het begin der dancetijden. Hij heeft gewerkt met vele artiesten zoals Felix da Housecat, Armand van Helden, Josh Wink, DJ Pierre en op een blauwe maandag zelfs met Marah Carey (toen ze nog hoge noten zong).
Zaterdag 26 augustus 2017 staat hij op Wooferland, en jij kan erbij zijn. Ja, echt waar! Tenminste, als je op tijd je ticket claimt want ze gaan weer ouderwets hard over de virtuele toonbank. Tot Woof!

Although dj Gizmo &#8211; Ferry Salee &#8211; is in the business for over 25 years now, it seems like a lifetime ago when he travelled to gigs by train with a heavy plastic box packed with vinyl. Gizmo nowadays is a A-list and immensly experienced dj who travelled around the world many times &#8211; from Australia to USA &#8211; and played all the major events in Holland. 
In 1995 already he was voted as Best International DJ in Switserland and instead of disappearing into a vacuum like so many others, he maintained his status as a top-dj in the following ten years. Gizmo has become the almost perfect dj combining unbelievable technical skills, a superb musictaste and the ability to cause mayhem on any dancefloor.
Born on 3 June 1965 in The Hague Ferry Salee started a drive-in show at the incredibly young age of 12, spinning disco, soul and funk for hockey- and soccer-societies. Soon after he got offered a job at the rollerdisco in Scheveningen around 1982, and since than he knew that music was his ultimate mission. Needless to mention that Ferry was so busy with dj-ing, that he didnt find time and motivation to finish college. When he joined a mix-contest for a Dutch radiostation he finished 4th after other future heroes like Jean, Michel de Hey and Erick E. Ferry was a booked quite often in that period, but when he discoverd housemusic in 1989 his carreer became more and more serious. He was invited to play BCM in Mallorca and even played Ibiza with Carl Cox. In Holland he often played at the Bios in Amsterdam together with Alex van Oosterom and at the Bluetiek Inn in Rotterdam together with Paul Elstak and Peter Slaghuis.
The early nineties not only were a turningpoint in his carreer, they also marked his big breakthrough a dj. Around 1992 saw the birth of a new dancestyle called hardcore or gabber and Gizmo was one of the first artists playing this energetic and intense music. He weekly shared the stage with dj Rob and Paul Elstak in the legendary temple Parkzicht in Rotterdam. 
Gizmo became a sort of resident at the memorable Rave The City events in his hometown, where he often was accompanied in the dj-booth by another legend from The Hague: Darkraver. After having joined forces with the famous Dreamteam alongside with Dano, Buzz Fuzz and The Prophet his carreer launched off like a rocket and Gizmo became one of Hollands most popular djs. He played major event like Mystery Land, Thunderdome, Hellraiser, A Nightmare In Rotterdam, etc. In the roaring nineties Gizmo did a long list of mix-albums like House Party, Hellraiser, Eathquake, Thunderdome, countless remixes and productions for labels such as Babyboom, Dwarf, Rave Records, Ruff Beats and Gizmania-X and Plain House.
In the late nineties and beginning of the new millenium saw Gizmo becoming a leading dj in the hardstylescene. However he soon devolped an own style combining hardstyle, jumpstyle old school, early rave and hardore. The nine cd-releases in the series Harder Mach have been a huge success and represent Gizmos open-minded view on the harder dancestyles. Another major success in his endless c.v. is the weekly radio show called Hardhouse Generation at Fresh FM with Norman, the Darkraver, Cor the Splinter &amp; Bass D every Wednesdayevening. 
The year 2006 will add a new chapter to the never ending Gizmo-story, since he started the new label Monkey Face with Buzz Fuzz. After the record Da Break Of Dawn on Tomb Records and the co-production Power To Da People with friend Norman, there are a bunch of new track in the pipeline with Showtek, Symastic, Native, The Vodka Brothers and again Norman.

DJ All Star Fresh (Guan Elmzoon) trad op aan de top van de internationale rap- en hiphopscene. Hij is verbonden aan verscheidene grote Amerikaanse artiesten, waaronder Public Enemy, Ice-T en Setsasonic. Hij draaide in de vele Amsterdamse toonaangevende clubs en festivals, zoals de IT, Escape, Panama, Paradiso, Wasteland, Dancevalley en won in 1988 de Nederlandse Mix Kampioenschappen en werd derde op het WK Mix.
Ook behaalde hij een tweede plaats op “The Battle of DJ&#8217;s” in New York. Ook is hij onder meer het voorprogramma geweest bij de concerten van Madonna in Nederland, met o.a. de clubhits “Back By Dope Demand” en “Must Bee The Music”.
Als oude rot in het vak brengt hij nog steeds wereldwijd Royal Freshness op vele dansvloeren, met DJ-sets, die variëren van old school dance-classics tot old- en new school hiphop en natuurlijk clubmuziek met een sexy twist, zoals Latin House, tribal, en urban tunes.

25 augustus 2018 staan ze op Wooferland, Hardfloor! Een naam die menig classics hart sneller doet kloppen. De geniale remixen uit de jaren negentig van dit duo worden nog steeds gedraaid en definiëren het begrip &#8220;classic.&#8221;

Dit is weer zo&#8217;n boeking die al jaren op ons verlanglijstje stond; Ian Pooley! Naast een fantastische DJ is Ian ook een getalenteerd producer. Zo heeft hij enkele klassiekers uitgebracht als &#8220;Celtic Cross&#8221; en &#8220;Chord Memory&#8221; en zwaait hij de scepter bij het platenlabel Pooled Music.
Op 26 augustus 2017 kun je hem bewonderen op het wonderschone Houtrak in Halfweg tijdens alweer de 14e editie van Wooferland.

Het is alweer even geleden dat Isis op Wooferland festival stond, maar we vonden het wel weer tijd geworden ondertussen. Al decennia een vast waarde in de Nederlandse scene, en altijd heerlijke en verrassende sets.
In 2017 vierde ze haar 25 jarig jubileum in Paradiso, kom ook genieten van Isis op Wooferland in de liefste area van het festival; The House of Love en ze neemt je mee terug naar toen!

Kenners weten genoeg, en mocht je hem nog niet kennen dan ga je 16 februari ook zeker vallen voor de opzwepende sound van deze Berliner. De kaarten gaan ook alweer rapper dan normaal, dus claim alvast je spot en jij zit goed deze winter!

Wat een toffe boeking als zeggen we het uiteraard weer zelf 🙂 De tracks van Jam zuilen bij menig 90&#8217;s kid warme herinneringen oproepen. Maar, ook de huidige generatie club- en festivalgangers gaan in extase bij het bekende &#8220;The Age Of Love&#8221;, ge-remixed door Jam &amp; Spoon. Mede door deze remix wordt The Age Of Love weer veel gedraaid door high-rollers als Adam Beyer, Nina Kravic en verder door vrijwel elke classics-dj.
Biografie Jam El Mar werd vooral bekend als lid van het duo Jam &amp; Spoon, dat hij vormde sinds 1991 samen met de in januari 2006 overleden Mark Spoon (echte naam: Markus Löffel). Samen met Spoon bracht Jam El Mar ook nummers uit onder groepsnamen als Tokyo Ghetto Pussy en Storm.
Begin jaren 1990, voor de doorbraak van Jam &amp; Spoon, was Jam El Mar lid van de formatie Dance 2 Trance, samen met DJ Dag (echte naam: Dag Lerner). Het nummer wat zij produceerden genaamd &#8220;Power Of American Natives&#8221; was eind 1992, begin 1993 een grote internationale dance-hit.

Toen in de late jaren tachtig de housemuziek opkwam, raakte hij in de ban van deze muziekstijl. In 1990 werd Albers presentator van het radioprogramma &#8216;For those who like to groove voor de AVRO. Het was het eerste Nederlandse houseprogramma op de radio. In 1992 stopte het programma echter toen Albers door de AVRO werd ontslagen. Hij besloot daarna zelf als houseproducer te beginnen.
In 1993 had Albers zijn eerste hit met nummer Plastic Dreams onder zijn alter ego Jaydee. Het nummer dat opvalt vanwege het Hammondorgel werd een internationale househit. Het nummer werd daarna nog enkele malen in speciale remixes opnieuw uitgebracht. Het werd uiteindelijk ruim 2 miljoen maal verkocht. In 1994 kreeg hij nog een hit met &#8216;Music is so special. Ook bracht hij onder tal van andere namen houseplaten uit. Enkelen daarvan zijn Graylock, Daydream en Karnak. In 2000 bracht hij een album uit van Jaydee. Op House nation stonden de bekende singles en ook wat nieuw werk.
In 1996 startte hij samen met producers Michel Rozenbroek en Dieter Kranenburg het project The Sunclub. Daarmee hadden ze in 1997 een grote hit met Fiesta (de los Tambolireros). Er volgt een album en nog een kleinere hit met Singleminded people (dat van origine een B-Kant is van Plastic Dreams).
In 1999/2000 was The Sunclub weer terug met het album Splash met nummers als Splash, Movin on en Bandoneon. 
Daarna leek The Sunclub uitgespeeld. Maar een mashup van hun hit Fiesta en het nummer Summer jam (een 2 stepplaat van The Underdog Project uit 2000) werd in de zomer van 2003 een grote hit. Het nummer stond negen weken op de eerste plek en is de best verkochte single van dat jaar. Daarna verschenen er nog enkele hits als Boom boom, Jump en weer een nieuwe versie van Fiesta.

Als je alle kilometers die Jean voor zijn gigs heeft gereden achter elkaar plakt dan kunnen we komen we waarschijnlijk in een volgend sterrenstelsel terecht. Jean heeft ook diverse hits op zijn naam staan waarvan waarschijnlijk zowel je oudtante en je buurvrouw The Launch wel kent. De koning van de club sound draait 29 agustus op Wooferland 2020 op de club/trance stage.

DJ and producer from Stockholm, Sweden. 
Joel Mull&#8217;s career spans over three decades. With a background studying classical music, singing in choirs and playing in bands, Joel found electronic music at a young age as a source of freedom. His first experience came from DJ’ing in the chill-out areas of rave parties in his native Stockholm during the early 90’s.
With his roots from Germany, Hamburg, he moved to the city in 1994, and worked as a resident DJ for 3 years at one of the biggest techno clubs in Germany, Unit Club. This was an important period for him and as a DJ; It taught him how to control the energy of the night on the dance floor, from warm up sets to 10h marathon sets.
With releases on music labels worldwide along with Cari Lekebusch, Robert Leiner, Adam Beyer and Jesper Dahlbäck he counts to the first wave of Swedish techno producer who became known around the world as the &#8220;Swedish techno sound&#8221;. 
He has produced over 100 releases and under various names such as Icarus, Gotzkowsky and most recent under his alias Damm. 
He often refers to himself and his craft as a sound architect, and if you’ve ever experienced his club sets, you’ll understand why. 
Under his ambient and electronica alias Damm, Joel revives one of his earliest aliases and expands upon this discipline even further.

Johan Gielen is een in België geboren dj en trance-producer.
In 1981 verhuisde Gielen op twaalfjarige leeftijd van België naar het in Noord-Brabant gelegen Reusel. Een paar jaar later begon hij zich als dj te ontwikkelen en werd resident dj van de Belgische club Dockside. Hij organiseerde tevens grote feesten.
Toen halverwege de jaren &#8217;90 de stijl trance opkwam, ging ook Gielen hierin mee. Zijn populariteit nam toe, onder meer in Japan waar hij wekelijks in een grote club draaide. Naast het draaien ging hij zich op het produceren van muziek toeleggen. Zo remi<a title="Remix" href="https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remix">xte</a> hij singles voor andere dj&#8217;s en produceerde hij eigen werk. Het bekendst werd Gielen met zijn samenwerkingen met de Belgische dj Svenson. Met hem maakte hij verschillende platen, remixen en deed hij optredens, zoals op Trance Energy. Het tweetal werkte ook samen als Summer Madness met DJ Jean. Hiermee maakten ze de dancehits Summer Power (1998) en Planet Rio (1999). De laatste jaren is hij echter weer solo actief.

Jon The Dentist, ook zo&#8217;n naam die gevoelens zoals de eerste Dancevalley&#8217;s bij je op laat komen. Wat een klappers heeft deze man geproduceerd, van die tracks waarbij je gewoon moét springen. Op Wooferland 2018 gaat hij een speciale live-set doen op de nieuwe club/trance stage.

Joost van Bellen is een fenomeen. Hij is een creatieve duizendpoot, een discodinosaurus en een kameleon die onmogelijk in één hokje te plaatsen is. Maar wie zijn dertigjarige carrière goed bestudeert ziet de algemene delers: buiten zijn liefde voor de nacht en tegendraadse culturen voelt Joost nog altijd de drang zich steeds te vernieuwen, mensen te vermaken en tegelijkertijd iets mee te geven.
Van Bellen is geboren in 1962 en heeft willens en wetens de strijdkreet Forever Young hoog in het vaandel staan. Hij is bekend als dj en feestorganisator en verdient daarnaast zijn sporen als creatief brein en muzikaal regisseur voor onder andere modeshows. 
Zijn muzikale smaak is onnavolgbaar en breed, zijn dj-sets zijn innovatief, feestelijk, krachtig en (net als de man zelf) niet onder één noemer te vangen.Joost heeft een broertje dood aan de hokjesgeest en betreedt daardoor paden die niet altijd voor de hand liggen. ‘Ik moet altijd het avontuur opzoeken, en als iets uiteindelijk werkt, dan klopt het en haal ik voor heel even voldoening uit mijn vak,’ zei hij ooit in een interview. 
In 2010 besloot hij een roman te gaan schrijven, dat boek kwam vier jaar later uit. En de rest is geschiedenis die nog geschreven moet gaan worden.In 2008 werd hij door Het Parool genomineerd voor Amsterdammer van het Jaar. Joost verloor de titel aan de ambulancebroeders die nét iets meer stemmen hadden gekregen. In 2013 werd hij genomineerd voor de Amsterdamprijs van het Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunsten. Ook deze ging aan zijn neus voorbij: pianist en componist Reinbert de Leeuw won de felbegeerde prijs. ‘Het was een moeilijke keuze,’ vertelde een jurylid hem na afloop. 
Van Bellen schreef op Facebook dat het logisch was dat de legendarische en wereldberoemde De Leeuw had gewonnen, en wist dat hij zelf nog heel wat te doen had voor zijn tijd zou gaan komen.

Ontdekte het mixen met platen als Franky Goes To Hollywoord&#8217;s Relax en High Energy van Evelyn Thomas. Nou dan zit je als startpunt qua klassiekers wel in de juiste hoek om op Wooferland te staan. Jose scoorde ook vele hits als de klassieker Wrong=right en G-Spott. Op 25 augustus 2018 staat Jose op de vijftiende editie van Wooferland.

Josh Wink is een Amerikaanse dj en producer. Hij werd bij het grote publiek bekend door zijn destijds opvallende nummers Higher State of Consciousness en Don&#8217;t Laugh die uitkwamen in 1995. De stijl van Wink, zoals hij zich ook noemt, is een combinatie van de housestijlen acid, techno en club.

In 1991 begon zijn muzikale interesse vorm te krijgen. In de coffeeshop waar hij destijds werkte kreeg hij op eigen verzoek twee Technics draaitafels zodat hij tijdens de verkoop van de nodige genotmiddelen de mogelijkheid had om de rest van de dag wat platen aan elkaar te mixen.
De underground dance scene was in Amsterdam springlevend en er waren genoeg locaties om ieder weekend ergens anders een geweldig feest bij te wonen. De toenmalige feesten waren altijd weer voorzien van thema, immer vernieuwend en uiteraard geheel in stijl gedecoreerd.
De legendarische Evlo feestjes in de AMP studio waren zijn eerste echte feestjes. Hij had daar een eigen goed geïsoleerde studioruimte ter beschikking gekregen waar zon vijftig man zwetend voor je DJ booth uit hun dak konden gaan, waanzinnig! Daar deden bijvoorbeeld Tom Harding, Billy Nasty en MC Marxman ook hun intrede. 
In die ruimtes werd je getrakteerd op psychedelische filmpjes, vertoond op oude projectoren en konden gezien worden als de voorlopers van de nu geavanceerde en gelikte VJ producties, helemaal goed. Destijds draaide alles letterlijk om het draaien van plaatjes, contacten leggen, zorgen dat je gehoord werd en het verspreiden van je eigen tapes. Dus van 5 nachten Royal Kabul (met toen nog geoorloofde paaldanseressen), naar Radical Rehousing Singel 114; van de Silo naar Mazzo; van Mazzo naar Paradiso; van Paradiso naar de Stalker en van daar uit naar mijn uiteindelijke station, de Melkweg.
Ook op Wooferland is JP geen onbekende en heeft al vaak op de line-up gestaan. Op 10 februari staat hij dan ook weer op de winter editie in Paradiso.

Hij stond al een keer op Wooferland festival in de Subv3rse area, Juli N More, één van de drijvende krachten achter het iconische Sisyphos uit Berlijn (een soort Thuishaven on steroids 😉
Samen met o.a. Jake The Rapper tovert hij op 16.2.2019 de Paradiso kelder om tot de &#8220;Berlin Basement&#8221;. Dit gaat een hele fijne en vuige sessie worden

Kraak &amp; Smaak is een Nederlands trio uit Leiden bestaande uit Mark Kneppers, Oscar de Jong en Wim Plug. Ze maken sinds 2003 muziek in de genres electronica, disco, house en funk, en hebben tot nu toe vijf albums uitgebracht. Als <a title="Diskjockey" href="https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diskjockey">dj</a> en live act dragen ze bij aan nationale en internationale muziekfestivals. Ze hebben in de loop der tijd getoerd in Europa, Australië en de Verenigde Staten. De naam wordt in het Engels vaak uitgesproken als Crack and smack. Bij het begin van Kraak &amp; Smaak was met een dergelijke uitspraak en de daarbij behorende associaties geen rekening gehouden.

Ldopa is not really a drug, it’s a neurotransmitter that helps passing electrical information through neurons in the brain. In some cases a disbalance in Ldopa can cause Parkinson disease and catatonic states or impossibility in moving (like in the movie Awakenings). So balancing Ldopa helps improving movement. In essence this is the main goal of a dj too, making people move.
Dj Ldopa aka Pieter Kolijn has been trying to improve movement for about 20 years now. Starting in a little studentsclub SSR and club LVC in Leiden he found his way to Melkweg and Paradiso in Amsterdam but also to the main festivals in Holland. Back then many times with his so called partner in crime dj Chaos as the Sabotage Sound Surfers crew, organizing and playing clubnights like Sabotage, Knockout or Drum&amp;Bassline. Never fitting in a box Ldopa’s musical taste is hard to catch in a few words. Of course his name is known for ‘jungle-drum &amp; bass’, but ‘jungle’ can be a way of playing music too, colourful &amp; exciting.
Ldopa wanders through classics in pop, rock, soul/funk, hiphop, house, d&amp;b, reggae/dancehall. Next to the classics he plays new rock-electrohouse-dubstep-d&amp;b-hiphop-mix_up_stylee for instance @Noodlanding (Paradiso). Basically Ldopa just likes to change the style.
During summer he plays chillstuff at the beach (Aloha @ Wijk aan Zee) anything from reggae, pop, hiphop, soul/funk, afrobeat. There are just too much beautiful sounds around.

Als geestelijk vader van Wooferland kun je een classics-set wel aan hem overlaten. Op 16.2.2019 kun je hem dan ook weer horen in de grote zaal van Paradiso.

Als Lucien in de booth staat spat de energie er vanaf, en dat al sinds begin jaren 90. Als geestelijk vader van de uber-classic Quadraponia zette hij zichzelf op de kaart als producer en tot de dag van vandaag produceert Lucien het ene juweeltje na de andere.
Hoewel Lucien geen onbekende is op de Wooferland line-ups stond hij nog nooit op Winter Wooferland. Wel nu, 16.2.2019 gaat daar verandering in komen, dan komt Lucien de grote zaal plat draaien en we zullen zien we er daarna nog op zijn benen kan staan op de dansvloer.

Around 2000 Richard the Mildt&#8217;s career as a dj developed at an accelerated rate, which has lead to the fact that this uncrowned king of hardstyle is now to be rated among the most popular dj&#8217;s in the Netherlands. In 2003 Luna came fourth in the Top 100 of best dj&#8217;s in the world during the Dutch Dance Awards, overtaking big shots like Carl Cox, Dave Clarke and Sven Väth. A year later he even moved to the second place.
This shows that Richard made the most of his talents and reached the top in no time. &#8220;It was quite bizarre to end second in the list behind Tiësto and the ultimate prove that I was on the right track.&#8221;Luna was born in Den Haag and at the age of 3 moved to Sassenheim where he spent the first 21 years of his life, and currently lives in Den Haag. Shortly before the turn of the millennium he came in contact with Q-dance, the world&#8217;s leading dance-organisation for the harder styles of dance. Q-dance offered Luna an opportunity to play to the masses at events including Qlubtempo, Qlimax, HouseQlassics and Mysteryland.
One time, when his fellow dj Pavo was unable to spin, Richard just picked up the phone and called to ask whether he could perhaps stand in for him. Q-dance had already heard a very promising demo of Luna and therefore let him fill in the vacancy left by Pavo at The 1991/1992 Golden Edition. &#8216;I like working with a quality organisation as Q-dance, although I do want to stress that I&#8217;m an independent dj and that I spin wherever I&#8217;m asked to spin&#8217;, Lunaexplains.
After some very successful performances at events like Houseqlassics, Qlubtempo, Mysteryland, Qlimax, etc. It soon became clear that Luna is an up-and-coming star, which is due to his unique talent to combine his impeccable track selection, his excellent technique, such as backspinning and scratching, and his energy and enthusiasm behind the turntables. It was as early as the mid-nineties that the music lover Luna acquired a passion for hardcore and oldschool, which explains why he is later to become one of the icons of hardstyle.
As a rave fanatic and a devotee of harddance, Luna to buy himself two turntables and to master the art of dj-ing back in 1994. &#8216;Hardcore and oldschool are both loves that will never rust and I decided to play those styles more often in the future.&#8217;Some highlights include superb performances at Qlimax, Sensation Black, and Shockers, where he had to fill the gap between techno-stars Speedy J and DJ Rush and truly rocked the house all night with a combination of Hardstyle and Techno.
Lately Luna explores his deep passion for techno – and hardtechno in particulair – with blistering sets at Rotterdam&#8217;s Nighttown where he blew off the roof completely. &#8216;I just hate that typical Dutch way of thinking that now that I&#8217;m labelled a hardstyle-dj should keep away from other styles. That&#8217;s why I&#8217;m not afraid to just sometimes spin a popular techno or hardtrance-track. But I absolutely do love to spin loud and bangin&#8217; techno for a few hours as well&#8217;, Luna explains.Now that Richard has established himself as a DJ he spends more and more time in the studio alone or with his partners Trilok and Chiren, who as a threesome go by the name of DHHD. Together they produce tracks for StraightOn Recordings, a label which is co-owned by Luna himself and his friends dj Pila &amp; The scientist. They started up the label in 2003. Richard has released several successful tracks, including &#8216;So Many More&#8217;/The Anthem, &#8216;We Control The Sound&#8217;/&#8217;Hear Me Now&#8217;, &#8216;Rush&#8217;/&#8217;Funky Shit&#8217;, and &#8216;The shockers Theme In Control&#8217;, which were released on Id&amp;T ? Q-Dance records and StraightOn Recordings.
Besides producing tracks he co-produced and mixed the mix-albums such as &#8216;Qlimax&#8217;, &#8216;X-qlusive Holland, &#8216;X-qlusive Luna&#8217; and &#8216; Hardbass&#8217;. &#8216;It is my ambition to expand my label, to concentrate on my international career and to further establish my reputation as both a DJ and a producer&#8217;.In addition of the succesful X-Qlusive Luna party Luna reached an absolute milestone doing a Luna One Man Show in the massive Geldredome stadium Arnhem in 2005. He was the second dance-artist after Tiësto who played in such a huge arena. And especially for this occasion he produced the pounding themesong &#8216;Now&#8217;s The Time&#8217;. That year Luna also did Sensation Black for the third time and played major events like DefQon, Mysteryland, In Qontrol and Impulz. A main part of the summerseaon he spent abroad performing in countries like Greece, Poland, Spain, Germany, Italy, South-Africa, Australia and Estland.At the end of 2006 Luna stopped with StraightOn Recordings. It was time for a change.
In 2008 he started the label Minus Is More. The goal is to bring a different sound. Besides his own productions, new talent also gets the chance to release their tracks. The label has grown to be one of the main players in the scene. In the near future the planning is to do worldwide label tour. So keep your eyes open.

Luna

M-Cécile was brought up in a very classical environment as her mother is a professional classical singer. Amongst other things, this gave M-Cécile her a special sensitivity for melody. As a child, she also played the piano but, at the age of 14, started to play drums &#8211; and later took more specialised courses in drum rhythms (like Brazilian samba en batucada). 
Her background in combining melody and rhythm makes her unique in the way she mixes records. She&#8217;s also one of the first female DJs in the world, having started in 1992. She&#8217;s been through disco, 80s music and acid jazz.
But it was in 1990, when she heard DJ Dimitri playing house music, that some great music had finally touched her again and a new passion was born. Today, she finds it important that musicians keep getting involved with electronic and house music and work together with the producers of today to continually push the boundaries of house music. She especially loves the combination of instruments played live with electronic music on vinyl.

M-Cecile

Voorheen bekend als De Man Zonder Schaduw, op 26 augustus 2017 maakt hij zijn Wooferland debuut en is daarmee een verfrissende toevoeging op de respectabele lijst DJ&#8217;s die we inmiddels hebben verwelkomd. 
Furore maakt hij o.a. met de Gasten Zonder Grenzen feesten, en ook voor een optreden op Sensation draaie hij zijn hand niet om. Dat hij het classics hart op de juiste plek heeft zitten blijkt wel uit de heerlijke remix van de klassieker House of Venus &#8211; Dish n Tell die hij maakte met Juan Sanchez.

Over grondleggers gesproken, de trackrecord van Marc Acardipane is indrukwekkend. Zeer gerespecteerd door vele djs en onlangs weer helemaal herondekt. DJ&#8217;s als Nina Kraviz kunnen nu dan wel zijn tracks draaien, wij gingen hier al keihard op in de jaren 90, en nog steeds!
De Duitser Marc Trauner beter bekend onder het alias Marc Acardipane (Frankfurt am Main, 7 april 1969) is een van de grondleggers van de hardcore house. Hij heeft de eerste hardcore-track aller tijden geproduceerd onder het alias Mescalinum United met de song We have arrived. Andere pseudoniemen die hij gebruikte waren onder andere The Mover, Pilldriver, Marshall Masters en Resident E. 
Hij startte het Label Planet Core Productions (PCP), die Acardipane in 1989 samen met Thorsten Lambart (alias Don Demon/Slam Burt) oprichtte.

Mark van Dale

Wow, Marshall Jefferson is met recht één van de ware housepioniers afkomstig uit Chicago. Iedereen kent zijn signature track &#8220;Move your body&#8221; uit alweer (leest u even mee?) 1986!
Marshall&#8217;s stijl is diep en melodisch vol met piano-riffs en groots klinkende strijkers. Deze stijl ontwikkelt hij steeds verder waarmee hij aan de absolute basis lag van de deephouse en house in het algemeen. Op 26 augustus staat deze grootheid op Wooferland festival te knallen in de House of Love area, en we will move our body for shizzle!

Marshall Jefferson

Mauro Picotto is een Italiaans dj en producer. Hij begint aanvankelijk als anonieme producer voor het Media records concern, maar breekt rond de milleniumwisseling solor door met hits als Komodo, Proximus en Like this Like That. Qua stijl is Picotto bijzonder divers maar zijn tracks kenmerken zich altijd door de hoge energie. Of je nu van rave, hardcore, techno of trance houdt, de muziek van Mauro valt bij iedereen in de smaak.

There are few members of Amsterdam&#8217;s bustling electronic music scene that can boast the rich and diverse history of Antonio Abbo, perhaps more familiarly known by his stage persona; MC Complicated. One thing that is for certain, is that none comes close to matching his sheer level of enthusiasm and presence, be it on stage, in the studio or on the dance floor. 
With so many years in the music industry, this seasoned percussionist and MC remains one of the most colourful and inspiring personalities of Amsterdam&#8217;s nightlife, in always giving a hundred and twenty percent, he never fails to electrify and bring a heartening interaction with the crowd. With rhythm running through every vein, young Abbo never doubted his calling. 
By the age of nine he was already drumming in a brass band, before metamorphising into his first punk outfit, the Willibrordz at aged sixteen. His next (rock!) band; Graduate Love, was to be pick-up by Holland&#8217;s one and only &#8216;rock &#8216;n roll junkie&#8217; Herman Brood, who personally requested them as a support act for his national tour. A few years later, Abbo got noticed by blues legend Ronald Abrahams, who invited him to tour the world with the infamous Ice Cold Band. &#8220;That man taught me a lot about music and life, truly a unique character.&#8221;
On a nationwide tour of Ireland and the UK with Ronald Abrahams in the early nineties, Abbo first stumbled upon the sound that would come to define the proceeding decades of his musical career. Upon entering a Northern acid house club, one Friday and Sunday afternoon, he realised that this was &#8220;it&#8221; for him; thumping beats, flickering strobo&#8217;s and steaming smoke machines, Abbo&#8217;s passion for dance music was ignited. After the birth of his son, Abbo focused solely on family life, but soon he felt the musical itch again. 
He got back into the game by playing percussion for Dutch soapie and singer Tim Immers, who had several top 40 hits in the Netherlands. Abbo&#8217;s big break came as the Percussionist and MC for The Sunclub, who topped the charts with Fiesta all throughout the summer of 1997. The single reached no. 1 in nineteen countries, and was undoubtedly one of the biggest club hits of the late nineties. Touring throughout the world non-stop for two years and winning several international awards, Abbo was living the life of a rockstar.
A string of other successful hits followed: Single Minded People, Splash, Wetsuit, Moving On, Bandoneon and Summer Jam (also no. 1), as well as a support act for Ricky Martin. However, after seven successful years, Abbo longed for new challenges, so he decided to quit with The Sunclub and take a long sabbatical, and to remerge on the scene in recent years. It was Amsterdam&#8217;s thriving clubland that would get Abbo&#8217;s juices flowing again, with so many fresh producers rising on the scene, he was inspired to pick up his drumming and mc-ing. Nowadays, Abbo has reclaimed his position as the scene&#8217;s most infectious partymaker.Past gigs &amp; residencies:

MC Flavours is inmiddels niet meer weg te denken uit de dance scene met zijn microfoon en zijn grote glimlach heeft hij menig bekend dj bijgestaan op events zoals Grotesque, The Promisedland, Corto Dimanche, Sfeer events, Summer of Love, Winter of Love, Crazyland, Pride Amsterdam en nog veel meer.
Op 31 augustus maakt hij z&#8217;n debuut op Wooferland in The House of Love!

Michel Becks

Mickey Loudah aka DJ Martijn is geen vreemde op Wooferland line-ups. In de beginjaren van de dance draaide hij samen met JP op illustere feesten als Evlo, Dancevalley en vele anderen. 
Het levensmotto van Mickey luidt: &#8220;Muziek is mijn passie, hou van het leven. Dans!&#8221;. En daar zijn wij het uiteraard dubbel en dwars mee eens!

Mijk van Dijk, bekend van de gigantische hit Schöneberg waarmee hij wereldwijd bekendheid behaalde. Mijk is nog steeds zeer actief in de scene zowel als DJ als producer. Op 25 augustus 2018 kun je hem vinden op de vijftiende editie van Wooferland.
